About me

Trusted, insightful, effective local counsel in Dallas, Waco, and other venues in Texas. Local knowledge is key. With over 30 years of complex litigation experience I can help you apply local knowledge to the most complex cases, be it as local counsel or an integral part of our team. I have extensive experience with both Judge Albright and Judge Gilliland. Not just with patent cases, but other types of cases as well.

I have over 30 years experience in all aspects of Intellectual Property.  From very large patent lawsuits, to trademark and copyright disputes, to contentious trade secret cases, to complex licensing deals, to creative IP business strategies.  I have enjoyed working on a variety of technologies, including semiconductor, oil & gas, computer hardware, software, telecom, medical devices, among several others.

I am very lucky to have a wonderful wife and three grown boys.  In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors, sailing, triathlons, skydiving, paragliding, kite boarding, and being a CASA volunteer.
